Martin D-12-20 1967 - Natural

by Clingan Guitars

$4,498.00

This 1967 Martin D-12-20 is a beautiful vintage 12-string that we recently acquired stateside, and it embodies everything you’d want from a classic Martin dreadnought. Built during a golden era of Martin craftsmanship, this all-mahogany beauty delivers warm, full-bodied tones with incredible resonance and sustain. The aged solid spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides creates a rich, balanced sound with that distinct chime and depth only a 12-string can bring—perfect for folk, rock, or anyone looking to add some lushness to their sound.

The mahogany neck with its rosewood fretboard has a comfortable, rounded profile, making it easy to play up and down the neck. The neck has the vintage Martin feel that’s just right for those big open chords and fingerpicking. At over 50 years old, the wood has opened up wonderfully, providing a mature tone that’s difficult to replicate.

From its open-gear tuners to its simple, understated appointments, this D-12-20 is as classic as it gets. The guitar has a beautiful, natural patina that speaks to its history and adds to its charm. For fans of vintage Martin acoustics, this one’s a standout that’s as collectible as it is playable.

Case: Comes with gig bag
