1972 Greco TE-400 Thinline Tele

by Clingan Guitars

$814.00

A beautifully crafted take on Fender’s semi-hollow classic, this 1972 Greco TE-400 Thinline Tele is a prime example of early Japanese guitar excellence. Made at the dawn of the famed Fujigen era, it features a chambered ash body, maple neck with skunk stripe, and a pair of vintage-style single coils that deliver everything from crisp, articulate twang to warm, woody cleans. The build quality is outstanding, with a lightweight, resonant feel and all the quirky charm you'd expect from an early '70s MIJ gem.

This one wears its age with pride—there’s natural checking, patina, and honest wear, but it plays clean and feels totally dialed-in. The frets have plenty of life, the electronics are solid, and the setup is smooth all the way up the neck. A rare and vibey vintage Tele alternative with character for days.
