Roland DC-50 Digital (analog) Chorus and Hall Echo Unit 1977

Up for sale is a vintage 1977 Roland DC-50 Digital (analog) Chorus and Hall Echo Unit.

This DC-50 is a super rare analogue BBD chorus (despite having “digital” in the name!) made by Roland in the 70's. These units share some similar characteristics with the Boss CE-1, however they are not that similar in terms of the circuit – for example the Boss uses MN3002 chips and this effects unit uses an MN3001. It’s a pretty simple beast – you can’t vary the speed of the chorus or hall echo (short delay) so it’s really just a case of plugging in and dialling in the intensity of effect required.

Overall in excellent condition for its age and is in perfect working order! Still on original 110v, a step down transformer will be included for Australian buyers.

Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
